Accessibility

Accessibility statement under the Austrian Web Accessibility Act.

This is a translation for convenience. The German version is the legally binding one.

The Students' Union at HOK Kufstein Tirol is committed to making this website accessible, in line with the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz, WZG).

Compliance status

This website is largely compliant with EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. “Largely” means some individual items may not yet fully meet the requirements.

What is already in place

The site can be operated entirely by keyboard, the focus is always visible, and a skip link leads straight to the content. Text colours meet the required contrast ratios throughout. Headings follow a consistent order, form fields are labelled, images carry alternative text, and the language of each page is declared. The layout adapts to small screens and works in both light and dark appearance. Motion is reduced when your system asks for that.

Non-accessible content

The PDF documents linked under downloads are not consistently prepared for accessibility. Some date back several years and exist only in that form. If you need a document in an accessible format, write to us and we will provide the content another way.

Formal documents such as the statutes and financial regulations exist in German only, as that is the language they are legally kept in.

Telling us about a problem

Is something missing, or have you run into a barrier? Write to vorsitz.oeh@hok.ac.at. Tell us briefly which page it concerns and what does not work. We normally reply within 48 hours on working days and tell you what we can do.

Enforcement procedure

If you are not satisfied with our reply, or receive none, you can contact the Sozialministeriumservice, which checks compliance with the Web Accessibility Act: sozialministeriumservice.at.
